Sylvia Sultenfuss
Atlanta Human Relations Consultant and Nurse Psychotherapist Sylvia Sultenfuss has just authored a new book, The Joy of Adulthood: A Crash Course in Designing the Life You Want (Palladium Productions, 2004). She is also a co-author with Wayne Dyer, Deepak Chopra and Mark Victor Hansen of Wake Up and Live the Life You Love: Finding Your Life's Passion (Little Seed Publishing, 2004).
Ms. Sultenfuss, an innovative therapist and communications expert, has encapsulated over 35 years of coaching, consulting and training into a simple and unique perspective that identifies clear distinctions of the character voices that each of us have. The focus of The Joy of Adulthood is the design a new kind of conversation, a conscious adult voice and director that have ability to choose the quality of life you want. Thousands of people already have distinctions and tools for living developed by Ms. Sultenfuss and are experiencing remarkable changes in their lives.
Ms. Sultenfuss is an experienced leader and teacher in nursing. She is a nationally certified Clinical Specialist in Psychiatric Nursing and has served as nursing faculty at both Case Western Reserve University (Cleveland, OH) and Emory University (Atlanta, GA). Sultenfuss established the first holistic health care center, the Buckhead Center for Health in Atlanta, GA in 1980. Recently, she received the Emory University Nurses’ Alumni Award for Distinguished Nursing Achievement. She has been recognized as an Outstanding Young Woman in America and recently, was acknowledged in the Heritage Registry of Who’s Who for Business Success in Health Services.
Ms. Sultenfuss' work is effective wherever there are human beings experiencing breakdowns in communication and wherever there are those who are hoping to alter the condition and quality of their lives. She has provided retreats, training, and consultation to many organizations including Herman. As a volunteer board member and trainer for 27 years with Global Health Action Inc., Ms. Sultenfuss has provided breakthrough workshops to thousands of people throughout the world. She has traveled extensively and has led workshops in Africa, India, Haiti, Jamaica, the Republic of China, Russia, and the Solomon Islands.
Ms. Sultenfuss is passionate about the opportunity to transform the way we human beings, think and behave.
